Indian Indices:                           Trends on SGX Nifty indicate a flat to positive opening for the broader index in India, a gain of 8 points or 0.07 percent. Nifty futures were trading around 11,636- level on the Singaporean Exchange.

Global Market:
·       Asian markets: Asian markets are lower today as Japanese and Hong Kong shares fall. The Nikkei 225 is off 0.18% while the Hang Seng is down 0.71%. The Shanghai Composite is not trading.
·       US Markets: US stock market sets record-long bull run.
·       European markets: European markets finished mixed as of their recent closing prices. The CAC 40 gained 0.22% while the FTSE 100 was higher by 0.11%. The DAX was even.


·       Major Headlines of the day:

·       Wall Street end mixed as S&P marks longest bull run.
·        CreditAccess Grameen to list on August 23.



·         Trend in FII flows:The FIIs were Net Value of Rs 254.25 cash segment while the DIIs were Net Value of  197.87 per the provisional figures.

Nifty likely to open lower.

Indian Indices:                           Trends on SGX Nifty indicate a negative opening for the broader index in India, a fall of 28 points or 0.24 percent. Nifty futures were trading around 11,406-level on the Singaporean Exchange.

Global Market:
·       Asian markets: Asian markets are lower today as Japanese and Hong Kong shares fall. The Nikkei 225 is off 0.13% while the Hang Seng is down 0.74%. The Shanghai Composite is not trading.
·       US Markets: U.S. stocks close lower as Turkey, trade worries continue to weigh.
·       European markets: European markets finished sharply lower today with shares in France leading the region. The CAC 40 is down 1.82% while Germany's DAX is off 1.58% and London's FTSE 100 is lower by 1.49%.

·       Asian shares hit one-year low on Turkey, China worries
·       Rupee opens at fresh record low of 70.19 a dollar amid Turkey crisis

Nifty likely to open higher
