Nifty likely to open higher

Indian Indices:                              Trends on SGX Nifty indicate a flat to negative opening for the broader index in India, a loss of 5.5 points or 0.05 percent. Nifty futures were trading around 10,943- level on the Singaporean Exchange.

Global Market:

·       Asian markets- Asian markets are lower today as Japanese and Hong Kong shares fall. The Nikkei 225 is off 0.56% while the Hang Seng is down 0.93%. The Shanghai Composite is not trading.

·       US Markets: U.S. stocks end mostly lower as traders focus on earnings

·       European markets: European markets finished mixed as of the most recent closing prices. The DAX gained 0.16%, while the FTSE 100 led the CAC 40 lower. They fell 0.80% and 0.36% respectively.

·         Results today :- Muthoot Cap, Tata Sponge, Vantage Corp, Zee Entertain, Rallis India, Jindal Stainles, Integrated Cap, Indian Metals, ICICI Lombard, Hindustan Media, Goa Carbon, Federal Bank, CRISIL, Ashok Leyland AND 8K Miles Soft.

·         S&P 500 dips as energy shares fall; Netflix tumbles late after results

·       Asia stocks sag after oil tumbles, dollar on defensive before Fed speech

·       Trend in FII flows:-  The FIIs were Net Value of Rs  -625.68in the cash segment while the DIIs were Net Value of Rs -70.3 as per the provisional figures.
