The Asian markets are trading on a firm note this morning, ahead of center bank meetings in US and Japan this week.
The Taiwan Weighted index is the major gainer, up over 2.5 percent at to 9,137. The Hong Kong's Hang Seng index has advanced almost a percent at 23,529.
The Shanghai Composite index has gained more than half a percent at 3,021 and the Singapore's Straits Times index has added 0.3 percent.
Whereas, the Japan's Nikkei index is closed today.
