The spot rupee bounced back into the positive after two-day decline, the domestic currency opened 11 paise higher at 66.57 as against the US dollar.
The Indian rupee touched a high at 66.54, and is now up 10 paise at 66.58.
Meanwhile, October currency futures have added 14 paise at 66.71 per dollar.
The counter has seen trades of around 1,50,007 contracts, while the open interest has increased a percent on the NSE.
Compared to the European-currency, the Indian rupee, however, has declined 21 paise at 74.51.
