Indian Indices:
The key domestic benchmarks are set to open lower today tracking a mostly weak trend across global markets.
The benchmark indices ended lower on Wednesday tracking mixed trend seen in Asian and European markets as investors pondered over the chances of another rise in interest rates next month ahead of the US Federal Reserve's policy outcome.On Expected lines, US Fed holds interest rates steady, downplays Q1 economic weakness
Indian benchmark indices gave lacklustre movement with a lack of any major results out during the market hours. Investors also remained cautious ahead of Fed policy outcome, due later in the day.
Nifty and Sensex are trading at 9313 and 29904 respectively. Media tumbled 1.7% while PSU Bank, Realty and IT sustained optimism with 1% plus upside.
Global Market:
European stock markets finished down slightly from a 20-month high on Wednesday, holding lower after a reading on eurozone economic growth matched the market’s expectations.
Asian stocks retreat, dollar holds gains on hawkish Fed statement. Japan is closed for the Golden Week holiday. South Korea's KOSPI bucked the weaker trendWall Street ended slightly lower on Wednesday after the US Federal Reserve held interest rates unchanged and investors digested another heavy round of earnings reports.
