INDIAN BENCHMARKS: SENSEX ENDS DOWN 205 POINTS NIFTY BELOW 10150 : 28 Mar 2018

Benchmark indices reversed some of gains seen in previous two consecutive sessions, with the Sensex losing 205.71 points to 32,968.68. The NSE Nifty managed to close above 10,100 levels on expiry of March derivative contracts, falling 62.90 points to 10,121.30. Benchmark indices continued to trade higher for second consecutive session, with the Sensex rising 107.98 points to 33,174.39, tracking positive move in global equities. Benchmark indices closed sharply lower as global stocks hit badly due to trade war concerns. Benchmark indices closed lower on Thursday after the US Federal Reserve's interest rate hike. The 30-share BSE Sensex was down 129.91 points at 33,006.27 and the 50-share NSE Nifty fell 47.20 points to 10,108.10. About three shares declined for every share rising on the BSE.
