Shares of Bharti Airtel fell today after multiple block deals were seen on the BSE and the NSE. Around 2.19 crore shares changed hands in multiple block deals.
Earlier today, reports said Qatar-based Three Pillars will offload its entire 5% holding in the company through block deals today. Once the trading activities commenced, Three Pillars sold 199 mn shares of Bharti Airtel at Rs 473-490 per share.
Bharti Airtel Ltd is currently trading at Rs 490.75, down by Rs 23.6 or 4.59% from its previous closing of Rs 514.35 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs 496 and has touched a high and low of Rs 506.85 and Rs 480 respectively.

Airtel is India’s largest mobile operator with 24% subscriber market share and 31% revenue market share. The company's revenue has grown at 4.4% CAGR over FY13-17.
