Himachal Futuristic Communications Ltd (HFCL) has received the Purchase Order worth Rs 128 crore approx. from Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited, New Delhi for the supply of Packet Microwave Radio Systems on pan India basis for BSNL Mobile Network.
This equipment PO is part of a turnkey project and the balance PO for Installation and AMC support services will be issued separately by BSNL.
The contract is for planning, radio frequency survey, supply, installation, commissioning and AMC of 15/18 GHz packet microwave radio systems along with the antenna, interconnect cable and other associated accessories as per schedule of requirement stated in the respective tender.
The order has to be executed by 10 to 12 months (within 3 phases).
The stock is currently trading at Rs 27.85, up by Rs 1.05 or 3.92% from its previous closing of Rs 26.8 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs 27 and has touched a high and low of Rs 28 and Rs 27 respectively.
