The shares of Infosys advanced by 1% after 13.5 lakh shares worth Rs 122 crore change hands in two block deals at Rs 902 per share. The stock was trading up by 0.28% at Rs 902 per share on BSE at 1050 hours. The stock opened at Rs 899 per share.
The stock touched its intraday high and low at Rs 905.20 and Rs 898.70 per share respectively. The stock has attracted the total traded volume of 19,76,984 shares and traded value of Rs 17,838.92 lakh on NSE at 1052 hours. Its 52-week high stood at Rs 1,082.70 as on October 14, 2016, and 52-week low at Rs 860 per share as on August 22, 2017.
Block deal is a single transaction, of a minimum quantity of 5 lakh shares or a minimum value of Rs 5 crore, between two parties which are mostly institutional players. The transaction happens through a separate trading window.
